Get to know our instructors!

Szabolcs Tóbiás

Instructor

I have been teaching since 2017. Before that I tried my hand in a number of fields - the energy sector, media, and so on. My father was an instructor as well for about 30 years, so perhaps that urge came from him, at least subconsciously.

My driving licence is what my students call “full” - I hold qualifications for every category. At present I actively teach category B; for years I also taught motorcycle categories, though that’s taken a bit of a back seat for now - what’s delayed will come.

I joined the Jövő Autósiskola team in the beginning of 2025. I’ve known Endre, the school manager, from before, and that was the main reason I came on board. We think alike on many things, and differ on many others - and that, I believe, is the spice of our collaboration: we can argue constructively and of course have big laughs. That is very important to me, and I think it is important to Endre and the whole Jövő Autósiskola team as well. Perhaps this is the most important thing I’ve experienced here - it encourages loyalty and commitment.

I primarily work with practical training and also run group refresher courses. Many people assume practical instruction is simple - you just sit in the car. Well, it isn’t: what I love about it most is that it’s challenging, it involves working with people and adapting to them.

My teaching style is based on this principle: give simple answers to simple questions. I try to pass that approach on to my students. Based on past feedback, my former students consider me honest, frank, yet fair. I adhere to those values - anyone who learns with me will find that expressing opinions and asking questions is not a problem from either side.

I love puns and use them to ease tension. At the same time, respect is also an important value - I expect it from myself and from the students who train with me.
