The path to confident driving
Practical training details
According to the law, you must drive at least 29+1 hours and 580 km before the practical exam. One lesson is 50 minutes long.
This must be completed in the following distribution:
Basic training
Duration: 9 hours
During the basic training, learners acquire the vehicle’s safety checks, technical handling, and overall control of the vehicle. When demonstrating the main components of the car and carrying out the safety inspection, the procedures specified in the vehicle’s owner’s manual must be followed.
The goal is to master vehicle handling, including starting and stopping, clutch control, reversing, steering, starting on a hill, and various parking maneuvers.
Urban driving
Duration: 14 hours
The main training phase may begin only after the required basic training hours have been completed. This is the largest portion of your instruction and the practical exam will also take place in these conditions. You will learn to coordinate your eyes, hands and feet, to watch traffic signs, and to adapt to the flow of traffic.
There is a lot to pay attention to at once, which takes time and plenty of practice. Don’t worry, it will all come together in your head, and it won’t feel so intimidating afterwards!
Highway driving
Duration: 4 hours
The aim is to get accustomed to driving at higher speeds while maintaining full control of the vehicle.
You will also practice overtaking on motorways (highways) and on rural roads.
Night driving
Duration: 2 hours
We teach night driving during actual nighttime hours. It’s important that you practice driving in the dark so you become accustomed to the different stimuli and conditions you’ll encounter at night. These include oncoming vehicle headlights, traveling on unlit roads, and reduced visibility distance.
Practical exam
Duration: 1 hour. The duration of the practical driving exam is 60 minutes, of which the student must drive a vehicle in public road traffic for 50 minutes.
The exam begins with a pre-start vehicle check, followed by a brake test.
During the exam, in addition to driving, the student must successfully complete one parking maneuver and a U‑turn.

Take the test before the test: our mock exam puts the school manager in the role of the examiner so you experience a full 50-minute practical exam under real traffic conditions - including one parking manoeuvre and a U turn. At the end you receive a constructive, development-focused evaluation to sharpen your skills and boost your confidence. All this for the price of a regular practical lesson, with no extra fee.

Technical information
- Flexible payment - you can pay the instructor for each lesson in cash or by card after the lesson, or, if you prefer, you can pay by bank transfer. This also means we do not require you to prepay for 10 practical lessons unless you want to top up your balance in advance with a larger sum.
- Our system counts in seconds, so you only pay for the exact time the lesson lasts.
- You can find each instructor’s schedule by clicking on their individual instructor page. That way you can already choose in advance which instructor you’d like to learn with.
